Worship nurtures our relationship with God, both as individuals and as a church. K&UBC members recognise that they have been saved by grace. Therefore, we do not deserve what Jesus Christ did for us, nor could we ever earn it. We are saved as a result of God’s great love for us. We therefore seek to reflect God’s grace in our relationships with others and to keep the worship of God at the centre of all we do.
An Inclusive Church
Our lives together will overcome barriers of gender, language, race, class, age and culture creating a church which welcomes and accepts those from all walks of life and identifies with those who are rejected, deprived and powerless.
A Growing Church
K&UBC members desire to follow Christ in whole-life discipleship. We seek continually to know Christ better and to be more like him. We commit to helping each other grow along that journey, never thinking that we have arrived.
An Outward Focused Church
As individuals and as a church we to seek to bring other people to a personal experience of God’s saving love and into a relationship with Him and to demonstrate in our words and actions God’s forgiving and healing love. A Serving Church
K&UBC members acknowledge that all are gifted. We seek to discern, with the help of the church, how God has gifted us and then use those gifts for the benefit of the church and our neighbourhoods. |
