Marilyn Webb, Pastor

Marilyn trained for the ministry at Spurgeon's College and worked at a small church just outside Cambrdige during this time.  She then moved into a team ministry position in Romford for three years before joining K&UBC in August 2009.

Marilyn is passionate about winning our communities for Jesus and her role includes leading the church as well as building community on the new housing development of Upton.

Marilyn has 3 children who are all married as well as 2 grandsons.

Mike Andrew

Mike looks after our property and all things technical. He is married with four grown up children and Mary his wife helps boost the singing and can be seen most weeks beside the piano.  Mike & Mary are directors of a software company supplying property management software to government organisations.  They are keen supporters of the Upton project and are active participants in KUBC walks and the KUBC Photographic club.

Lynne and her family have lived in Upton since 1997, throughout this time Lynne has been praying for 'someone to do something' to help the community as it grows and to share the love of our Lord Jesus with everyone.
Throughout that time, Lynne has been trained in her work environment and through her work in local churches, without realising that all of this training and experience has been developing her to be a 'someone who does something'!
Lynne is now involved in a some of the activities in Upton - book club, chicks & sticks and the monthly Upton meetings and is confident there will be many more activities growing to help everyone who lives in both Upton and in Kislingbury to get to know each other and be introduced to our Lord Jesus.  

Lynne is married with two children at university.

Ministry Team

We beleive that God not only hears our prayers and answers them according to his will but that he longs for us and to bring our cares and our issues to him.   At the end of every service there is always an opportunity for anyone to receive prayer from our Ministry Team who are always available.   This Team is headed up by Jeni York and also includes Mary Andrew, John Birch, Louisa Corkan and Bruce Furniss.
